Neutral Density Filters

Neutral density (ND) filters are a type of polarizing optical element chiefly used in imaging applications. They come in both absorptive and reflective formats, comprising a range of high-quality coated lenses categorized by waveband. Both absorptive and reflective ND filters are available for ultraviolet (UV), visible (Vis), and through to near-infrared (NIR) ranges.

Thin Films Lab specializes in precision-made coatings for neutral density filters and polarizing optics. With years of experience in electron beam deposition (e-Beam) and ion-assisted deposition techniques, we are uniquely positioned to meet bespoke customer requirements for tailored optical elements.
